Data Stored Locally
The App stores the following data on your device:
- Game library preferences - Favorites, play counts, ratings, and last played dates
- App settings - Display preferences, emulator paths, and collection locations
- Third-party service credentials - Your ScreenScraper and RetroAchievements usernames/API keys (if you choose to enter them)
This data is stored in your macOS preferences and is not transmitted to us.
Third-Party Services
The App can optionally connect to the following external services at your request:
- ScreenScraper.fr - To download game metadata and artwork. Your ScreenScraper credentials are sent only to ScreenScraper's servers to authenticate your requests.
- RetroAchievements.org - To display your achievement progress. Your RetroAchievements API key is sent only to RetroAchievements' servers.
- Apple iCloud - If you enable Cloud Sync, your favorites, play counts, and settings are synced via Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage. This data is protected by your Apple ID and iCloud security.
What We Do NOT Collect
The App does NOT:
- Collect personal information
- Track your activity or usage patterns
- Share data with advertisers or third parties
- Use analytics or tracking services
- Access your contacts, location, or other device data
Network Access
The App requires network access for the following optional features:
- Downloading game artwork and metadata from ScreenScraper
- Fetching achievement data from RetroAchievements
- Syncing preferences via iCloud
All network communication uses secure HTTPS connections.
File Access
The App accesses files and folders that you explicitly select (such as your game collection folder). The App uses macOS security-scoped bookmarks to remember your folder selections between launches. The App does not access files outside of your selected folders.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The App is a game launcher and does not include any social features, user accounts, or online interactions.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
